Does txtradar send my documents anywhere?
No. Highlighting and file scanning happen locally in your browser — the text of your PDFs, files, and pages is not sent to our servers. Text only leaves your device if you explicitly use an AI feature, which runs through a secure endpoint. See the privacy policy.
What can it scan?
PDFs and web pages (highlighted live, click-to-jump), plus Excel, CSV, Word, email, and images via OCR — each producing a findings view and an Excel report.
Do I have to pick a mode?
No. txtradar detects what you're looking at and applies your active watch-lists automatically. Each list can declare which media it runs on.
Can my team share a watch-list?
Yes. Shared lists sync in real time with roles (viewer, contributor, editor, owner) and per-word attribution so you can see who added what.
Is it free?
Yes — free to install, and your lists sync to your account across devices.
Which browsers are supported?
